I have been coming to his place for years to hear the live music on Fridays, with complimentary buffet from 5 to 6 p.m. I learned of their 2 red beans and rice with fried chicken on Mondays and Thursdays. There we had beans and rice are so delicious, along with chicken for 2 you can't go wrong. If you go on Thursday nights they have a live jazz band.

Food was great. Service was awesome. Sodas had no free refill. Otherwise all was good. Very welcoming environment and staff. Live jazz in the bar. Music not too loud, we were able to have a conversation without yelling over dinner. The service was awesome and the food was great. Price adds up especially when sodas are 3.50 each and no free refills. Fried clams were good but not a 10.50 worthy amount.

We visited for the first time Saturday while in LA from NorCal and the food truly took me back to my grandmothers kitchen. We went back before our flight, this would definitely be the spot if I lived there. Thank you guys!!
